Many local specialities such as the “café Kränze » biscuits, a German speciality, or the « torta de Almendra” can be decorated with pearl sugar in order to give them a very appetizing look and a sweet crispy taste.


The pearl sugar incorporated in the dough of the spiced bread melts and gives it a syrupy taste.
