Couplet Sugars is a Belgian family-owned company with 75 employees. It specializes in the production of sugar specialties for the global market.

To support its continued growth, Couplet Sugars is investing heavily in the development of its markets, products, and production lines.

Building on its success, Couplet Sugars is now looking to hire a Customer Service Representative.

Mission:

Reporting to the Supply Chain Director, you will work in close collaboration with the Sales & Marketing department.
You will manage customer relations, handle orders, and process sample requests efficiently and in line with procedures.

Main Responsibilities:

The following list is indicative and not exhaustive:

- Responding to customer requests in collaboration with other departments

• Sending product samples
• Providing quality documentation
• Supplying product, packaging, and transport information

- Customer Orders

• Processing orders: reception, entry, stock and lead-time verification, contract status check, customer communication related to the order, finding and implementing solutions to meet customer needs
• Monitoring sales based on orders and collecting information from operational contacts
• Organizing transport at the customer’s request: requesting quotations, selecting, booking, and following up
• Preparing export documentation: certificate of origin, health certificate, customs declarations, etc.
• Updating the customer database
• Ensuring compliance with export procedures

- Customer Relations

• Resolving issues (transport, documentation, etc.)
• Receiving and forwarding complaints
• Collecting customer feedback (opinions, suggestions, improvement ideas, etc.)

- Team Collaboration

• Contributing to the department’s objectives
• Providing support and back-up to the team, and working closely with the sales department
• Participating in continuous improvement: proposing and implementing new initiatives

Profile:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in languages/business, or equivalent experience
• 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar position (an asset)
• 3 to 5 years of management experience
• Fluency in four languages: French, English, Dutch, and German
• Proficiency with production management IT tools (Office environment, ERP, transport scheduling tools, etc.)
